- This will be my 14th year of teaching at Ivy Hill Elementary School in Arlington Heights, IL. I taught 9 years in grades 4 and 5 and am currently the LMC Director. I went to Glenbrook North High School in Northbrook, Illinois, Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas and National-Louis University in Evanston, Illinois. I have a Masters in Education and have completed an English as a Second Language and Library Media endorsement. I am married, have 3 children, and live in Northbrook, Illinois.

Hi... the book i am reading is called"Maude March". It is an awsome book about two girls named Maude and Sallie who's aunt got shot and Maude( who's 15 years old) is getting forced to marry. Maude does not want to get married so she and her sister escape and are trying to get to Independence,Missori where their uncle lives. They steal two horses and a bunch of food. During the journey newspapers say that Maude is a horse theif. Will they get to Missori? Read the book to find out!

This book is about the orphans Dallas and Florida. They have been to so many homes and they have been sent back everytime until they were sent to Tiller and Sairy even with their nickname Trouble Twins. They won't give up and they won't punish them like every other family that have they have been in so it was really exciting when they go on vacation. Florida and Tiller go down a river and Dallas and Sairy are going to find a rare bird. They almost ran away and Tiller and Sairy find them and bring them home. They tell them stories about their other 4 kids that grew up, got married and moved out. So they go on an experiment trip and Dallas and Sairy's stuff is stolen. Tiller and Florida get canoe wrecked and Tiller gets a soggy heart. Z takes him to a hospital. Z and the orphanage keeper try to take their money but Z tricks him. They bury horrid stuff and .99 worth of fake jewels. The orphanage keeper thinks they're real and makes a fool of himself when he buys a Corvette and and $9000 watch. When he goes to pick it up, he finds out that they were fake after he gets gum on the seat of his Corvette. So they all get what they deserve.
